Buffered acetone

Hi
I'm looking to get some buffered acetone to remove gel polish and acrylic instead of the regular acetone I currently use.
Are most gel removers buffered acetone? Or how do they differ from just acetone.
I know there is d-solve is there a generic alternative or other brand?
