Going lighter with highlights

hi guys! What do you recommend one do if you are trying to take your client lighter with highlights rather than lightening her whole head using bleach.

Would you guys do weaves? Would you guys do slices? Maybe a mix of both?

Would just like to know what your preference is for achieving the most highlighting as possible!
